PD PRESS: WHAT PD HAS BEEN READING

THE LIBRARIAN

This is anthology of many short stories, and has a companion volume, The Librarian Reshelved, for those stories that did not make it into the original book due to size constraints.

Published by Air and Nothingness Press, it tells stories of the mysterious Librarian, who can appear anywhere in the universe to lend a hand, whether it be a case of a national treasure poet who has writer's block, or a mother with child on sentry duty in a long war. Always helpful, and aided by magical sentient things such as a satchel or a friendly camel. The Librarian always has the right book for you on him/her. And the Librarian will remind you of your distant ancestor who has still not returned the book that she borrowed.

His/her guise (it is impossible to tell which he/she is) varies with each author's idea, but every story will make you laugh, or at least smile, because there is always the Librarian to solve every problem.

Until next time, don't forget to read at least 20 minutes a day.
