Quinta da Regaleira in Portugal is one of the most amazing places on the planet. Designed by Italian architect Luigi Manini, it was built in the early 1900's for its owner, Carvalho Monteiro. It looks like a Gothic palace and is set in amazing gardens. There are wells, grottoes and other delights. It is now publicly owned and open to visitors.
If you cannot make it there, PD has come across this project by professional landscape and architectural photographer Taylor Moore, who is producing a beautiful hard cover book of incredible photographs taken at Quinta da Regaleira.
